MAIN ENGINES
These twin sisters are powered by the ever reliable GM engines and being rated at 620 BHP each provides adequate power for the job. They are powered by twin 620 BHP GM 16 V – 92N engines and that power is transmitted down to the propellers via the Ulstein 520 AGSC reduction gearbox WITH ITS 4.63:1 RATIO.

GENERATORS
To keep spares to a minimum the Generators are also GM and the twin sisters have each got 2 diesel generators, 1 rated at 135 kwt and the other rated at 165kwt.

BOW THRUSTER
There is an Ulstein CP 90TV-340 HP Bow Thruster fitted to each of the sisters.

The steering gear on board is from Yamamoto.

These twin sisters were both built in 1981 and have been designed, built and operated under the auspices of ABS Classification Society. As you know ABS is one of the leading companies from I.A.C.S LTD (International Association of Classification Societies Ltd) which allows the vessel to operated in almost any port in the world. It is presently in Class to ABS +A1 (E) & AMS.
